The Denver City Council on Tuesday approved the Arapahoe Square Urban Redevelopment Plan, which paves the way for developers to seek tax increment financing (TIF) for improvements to the 26-block area.
The Denver Urban Renewal Authority (DURA) worked with members of the community, property owners, the Downtown Denver Partnership (DDP) and city officials for 18 months to develop the plan, according to Tracy Huggins, DURA’s executive director.
